Unit Description

The languages of Asia are both linguistically fascinating, and of great practical and cultural importance to Australia. This unit introduces the diversity of languages in Southeast Asia and East Asia, and describes the main sociocultural and linguistic similarities and differences among them. Both national and minority languages are covered. Web access is required.
