| Unit Description |
The unit provides an integrated treatment of policy issues relevant to the development, conservation, management and administration of natural resources in Australia, including soil, water, minerals and biological resources. Particular attention is given to the social, legal, constitutional and political constraints including community involvement, which affect ecologically sustainable development and biological conservation. Personal and group communication skills are a component of this unit. Students should have up-to-date Internet access. The 500 level unit is based on the undergraduate level unit with additional reading, assignments or projects and the demonstration of a greater level of understanding of the undergraduate material. |
