Centre for Advanced Animal Studies - Stage 1A

The Centre for Advanced Animal Studies Stage 1A(CFAAS) is located on the site of the old Animal House Complex located on the University of New England main campus – west of the Ring Road.

Stage 1A involved the construction of two new buildings, W071 & W073, along with associated infrastructure upgrades and civil works.

A plant room facility will be provided under the Amenities building to provide services to the remaining and future upgrades to the precinct.

W071 - Front of House Building

This new building is a 'front of house' to the overall CFAAS precinct and provides an address for the Centre. It is used for offices/staff amenities/laboratory & animal holding.

W073 - Amenities Building

The Amenities is a new building which provides an area for researchers and students/workers to dress/shower before and after undertaking duties within the facility. There is also laundry and breakout facility in the building which include toilets and changes rooms.
