UNE Open day, over 1000 students to join the University campus for the day

Over 1000 prospective students from all over the region are expected to visit the campus for the annual event, predominantly designed for school leavers from the New England North West region.

The program includes tours and activities right across campus and will give school students a glimpse of university life as well as important information about how to apply, UNE Early Entry, scholarships and more. Allowing prospective students to meet with future lecturers, chat with current students, and see how studying with UNE can Future fit your life

Campus tours will be running from 9:00 am-2 pm with shuttle buses between key locations throughout the day. Morning tea and lunch are provided.

Executive Principal Brand Partnerships and Business Development Mr Anthony Smith said that anyone considering study with UNE, whether on campus or online, is encouraged to attend.

“It’s one thing to learn about a campus on a website or in a brochure but it’s another thing entirely to experience it firsthand. Open Day is an irreplaceable opportunity for anyone considering tertiary study to tour the campus, talk to academic staff, and current students and learn about what UNE has to offer,” Mr Smith said.

“We will have information on UNE’s Early Entry program for school leavers, scholarships and other supports for students as they commence university.
