There are UNE scholarships for students who have achieved high academic results, come from rural areas or remote areas or other disadvantaged groups, are studying specific degrees, who excel at sport or who live in a residential college.

Scholarships are categorised below in the following groups:
- Merit: Available to students who show high academic merit
- Equity: Open to students who may be disadvantaged in areas such as financial, geographic, disability etc.
- Residential College: Applicants must reside in a residential college
- Indigenous: Applicants must identify as an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person
- Honours: Open to students undertaking their Honours year
Every scholarship has different eligibility criteria – please check the eligibility criteria of each scholarship to ensure you are eligible before applying.
