Different application methods can have different closing dates. Applicants applying through a Tertiary Admissions Centre should check the opening and closing dates of those applications on the TAC websites at either: Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) or Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre

Trimester 3 - 2024 Application Dates
Applications for study in Trimester 3 of 2024 are open now. Trimester 3 coursework commences on Monday 21 October 2024.
The on-time closing date for domestic students applying to UNE for most courses is Friday 11 October 2024. Please also check below for courses with specific early closing dates.

Applications for study in Trimester 2 of 2024 are open now. Trimester 2 coursework commences on Monday 24 June 2024.
The on-time closing date for domestic students applying to UNE for most courses was 14 June 2024 and the final closing date (last day to apply is) is Tuesday 25 June 2024. Please also check below for courses with specific early closing dates.
Why are there two different closing deadlines?
We recommend you submit your application before the on-time closing date because this gives you time to obtain your outcome, enrol and prepare to start your study journey when the Trimester commences. Whilst we encourage you to get your application in on-time, we understand that sometimes this might not be possible, so for most of our courses you have the option of submitting your completed application (including all supporting document/s) up until the first Tuesday of the teaching period and UNE will aim to get you an outcome prior to the last day to enrol for that Trimester.

- UAC Central: Apply by 9 November 2023 and change preference by 15 December 2023 (last Offer Round will be on 21 December 2023).
- QTAC: Apply by 7 December 2023 and change preference by 18 December 2023 (last Offer Round will be on 21 December 2023).
Note: Bachelor of Nursing applications re-opened from 18 January 2024 to 14 February 2024 as there were still places in the course for 2024 during that period.

Please note: Bachelor of Nursing applications have re-opened as there are still a limited number of places left in the course for 2024 (Trimester 1 of 2024). All applicants should apply online direct to UNE. Applications can only remain open whilst there are still places. Applications are likely to close on short notice upon the quota being reached.
