A career in Arts
Arts graduates are adaptable, can strategise, improvise, and pivot between roles as new styles, markets and technologies emerge. This ability to take advantage of changing trends is the key to future-proofing your career.
When I graduated, I attended the ceremony in Armidale while my three children watched from the crowd. I hope I have inspired them to go after what they want.
Work integrated learning was my most rewarding experience while studying at UNE. I completed two internships – so I got real world experience, and it counted toward my degree.
I want to pursue a career in academia and really enjoyed both my research area and the support and mentorship of my supervisor.
Examples of career paths for arts graduates include management, public relations, education, business, human resources, government and public sector, research and analysis, creative industries, and more.
